I SUGGEST THAT YOU IMPLEMENT THE FOLLOWING MODIFICATIONS TO PUB.
 1. (THIS ISN'T ANY WORK FOR YOU) LOAD PUB (AND PUB2) WITHOUT
THE SAIL SEGMENT. THIS WILL INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF RUNNING
 PUB.

 2. WRITE THE NAMES OF THE FONTS (AND SPECIAL XGP SPOOLER SWITCHES)
INTO THE FIRST PAGE OF THE DOC FILE. THE XGP SPOOLER WILL
READ FONT NAMES FROM THE FIRST PAGE IF YOU USE THE COMMAND:
XSPOOL <FILE>/XGP (BETTER THAN THAT, USE THE EXTENSION ".XGP"
FOR THE DOCUMENT FILE. THIS EXTENSION SIGNIFIES TO XSPOOL THAT
THE FONT NAMES WILL APPEAR IN THE FILE.) (CAUTION: ONLY
FONT NAMES AND XGP SWITCHES (LMAR,PMAR,BMAR,TMAR,RMAR AND XLINE)
ARE LEGAL IN THE ENTIRE FIRST PAGE.

 WARN.PUB DOES NOT EXIST

In PUBing YUMYUM.PUB[D,LES], I get the error message "No Portion Declaration
Found just above (or on) 3/4 [02100/1]". I don't understand what this
means. When I continue, it appears to work.

MEAA.PUB[PUB,TES] is the shortest PUB file I have been able to construct
that still gets the "INVALID INDEX NO. 2 FOR ARRAY AA" error message from
PUB. If you take out 4 calls of the macro UUO, no error message happens.
(There are 84 calls on UUO in this file.) It takes about 20 cpu seconds
to compile up to the error message. -- Martin
